In Pakistan, the National Finance Commission (NFC) is a constitutional authority tasked with distributing financial resources fairly between the federal government and the provinces. It establishes the "Divisible Pool" revenue-sharing system through the NFC Award in order to maintain regional fiscal balance and finance vital public services.
